Frequently asked

What is Arizona's Fair Market Value for liquor licenses?
Arizona Revised Statutes §4-206.01 directs the Department of Liquor Licenses and Control to determine a Fair Market Value for each quota license series in each county. By statute the FMV is the mean of licenses of the same series sold on the open market in that county over the prior twelve months — i.e. an official regulator-stamped county-mean comp.
Which Arizona license series do you publish?
The three quota (lottery) series: Series 6 (Bar), Series 7 (Beer & Wine Bar), and Series 9 (Liquor Store). These are the transferable series with a public FMV; non-quota series do not have a published FMV.
Where is this data sourced?
From the annual DLLC "Quota License Fair Market Value" PDFs published before each Arizona liquor license lottery. See our methodology.
Can I get a written value range for an Arizona license?
Yes. Email sales@licensecomps.com with the county and series and we'll send a tailored value range with the underlying FMV history.
